The US may soon announce the allocation of $600 million in military aid to Ukraine - mass media

The United States this week may announce another package of military aid to Ukraine in the amount of about 600 million dollars.

 This is reported by Politico.

According to a source in Congress, the US Department of Defense previously informed lawmakers about the use of $1.3 billion in military supplies in September.

Since the US president's administration already announced a $675 million aid package last week, the new package, Politico's source suggests, will consist of the remainder of that amount.

It will be recalled that last week the United States announced a new package of military aid to Ukraine to counter the Russian invasion worth $675 million.

The new aid package will include additional munitions for artillery rocket systems (HIMARS) and four 105mm howitzers, as well as 36,000 shells for them.

Total US military aid to Ukraine is approximately $15.2 billion since the start of the Biden administration.
