The Kremlin said that there is no talk of a meeting between the presidents of the Russian Federation and Ukraine, Volodymyr Putin and Volodymyr Zelenskiy. Allegedly, this requires a foundation of agreement.
This was stated by the spokesman of the President of the Russian Federation, Dmytro Peskov, according to the Russian publication "RIA Novosti".
As for the Putin-Zelenskiy meeting, nothing has changed here. No one needs a meeting for the sake of meeting. which can be fixed at the highest level. This (the meeting between Putin and Zelenskiy - ed.) is not discussed yet," Peskov said.
It will be recalled that recently the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, held talks with President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, during which he offered him a meeting with Putin.
After that, Zelenskiy said that dialogue with Russia is possible only in the case of the complete withdrawal of the occupying forces from Ukrainian territory.
Meanwhile, the media repeatedly discussed the situation of a possible meeting of the presidents at the G20 summit, where both Zelenskiy and Putin were invited.
