The European Union provided the UN International Court with its information in the case against the Russian Federation. The case concerns the genocide of the Ukrainian people by the Russian occupiers. This is reported by the website of the UN International Court of Justice.

 The current statute and regulations of the court allow the international organization on its own initiative to provide relevant information in pending cases.

 Therefore, the EU submitted information to the court in the case of Ukraine against the Russian Federation regarding accusations of genocide.

 The Delegation of Ukraine to the European Union thanked the EU for joining the case at the UN International Court of Justice.
