The President created the Consultative Council for the Deocclusion and Reintegration of Crimea

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy has announced the creation of the Consultative Council for the de-occupation and reintegration of the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol as a consultative and advisory body to the head of state.

 

The decree №579/2022 of June 15 was published on the website of the head of state.

 

According to the document, the purpose of which is to contribute to the coordination of measures on the issues of de-occupation, reintegration and restoration of territorial integrity of Ukraine, protection of citizens' rights, and settlement of the consequences and compensation for damages incurred by the State of Ukraine, In the framework of the activities of the Crimean platform, in accordance with paragraph 28 of part one 106 of the Constitution of Ukraine, Zelenskiy decided to establish the Consultative Council and to approve the Statute of the Consultative Council.

 

The head of the Office of the President of Ukraine was commissioned within a month to make proposals on the staff of the Consultative Council.

 

The text of the statute states that the Consultative Council consists of the head, secretary and other members of the Consultative Council, who take part in its work at public meetings.

 

The head of the Advisory Board is the president of Ukraine, the secretary of the Advisory Board is the permanent representative of the president of Ukraine in the ARC.
