Germany has handed over to Ukraine the promised Mars II multiple rocket launchers and three PzH 2000 howitzers. This was reported by Welt.

German Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht said the heavy weaponry was handed over to fight Russian aggression.

"The promised Mars II multiple rocket launchers and three more Panzerhaubitzen 2000 self-propelled howitzers have been delivered. We are keeping our word," she noted.

Receipt of the Mars II systems in his Telegram has already been confirmed by the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andrei Yermak.

Thus, in total, Ukraine has already received 10 PzH 2000 howitzers from Germany. Lambrecht also confirmed that Berlin will transfer 30 Gepard anti-aircraft guns, the first of which arrived yesterday.

In addition, the German side will provide Cobra-type radar for artillery gun detection in September.

"The contract has already been signed, and training of the Ukrainian military in the operation of this sophisticated system will now begin. This will allow our artillery systems to work even faster and more accurately," the minister added and noted that in a few days the training of AFU fighters to operate Iris-T SLM air defense equipment will begin.
