"Grain corridor": there is no question of full clearance of the water area of the port of Odesa - Speaker RSA

In the context of unblocking the export of Ukrainian grain and the opening of the "grain corridor" no one says that the water area of the port of Odesa will be completely demined. This was stated by the speaker of the Odesa RSA Sergey Bratchuk on the air of the national telethon.

"Look what we know, from open sources, then it will be a narrow fairway, which is for grain carriers, for those caravans that are planned to be fused and then go on the appropriate route. Everything else will be mined. No one says that the waters of the Odesa port will be completely mined or the security of our Black Sea borders will be reduced. We are not talking about this at all", - said Bratchuk.

Also, the RSA speaker noted that some part of the population for some reason perceived such agreements as the fact that there will be a weakening of mine and explosive security.

"That's not going to happen. Therefore, the prohibition to visit the beaches of the Black Sea coast, to swim in the sea - remains a prohibition. I especially want to emphasize this. The path will be, the route will be technical just for ships. For this bread caravan", - said Bratchuk.

Recall, the enemy on July 23 attacked the Odesa Commercial Seaport with cruise missiles such as "Kalibr". 2 missiles were shot down by anti-aircraft defense forces. 2 hit the port's infrastructure facilities, the UC Yug reported.

This happened less than 24 hours after russia signed an agreement to unblock Ukrainian grain exports by sea - with the UN and Turkey. Ukraine signed a similar agreement separately from Russia with the UN and Turkey. It was about unblocking three ports - Odesa, Chernomorsk and Yuzhny - for exports.

The enemy missile attack on the port of Odesa has already provoked reactions from both the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry and foreign diplomats, in particular the U.S. and the EU.
