Russia has declared its intention to "abolish" Lithuanian independence. In this regard, Vilnius must be ready to defend itself and together with its partners. Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis said this, according to LRT.
"Only a state ruled by beasts could start a war like the one started by Russia. I am not surprised that in politics too, they do not behave according to human standards. And we must respond accordingly - be ready to defend ourselves and together with our partners, political, diplomatic or other means," the minister said.
Recall that earlier a bill on repeal of the decree of the State Council of the USSR "On recognition of independence of the Republic of Lithuania" was submitted to the Duma. The initiators of the document believe that the resolution was adopted illegally.
