At least 751 children suffered as a result of the Russian invasion in Ukraine

At least 751 children suffered as a result of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation: -263 dead, 488 wounded. This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General.

"More than 751 children suffered in Ukraine as a result of the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation. As of the morning of June 9, 2022, the official number of child victims for the day has not changed - 263. The number of wounded has increased - 488," the report said.

As noted, these figures are inconclusive, because work is under way to identify the victims and those killed in places of active hostilities, in the temporarily occupied and liberated territories.

Most affected children in the Donetsk region - 190, Kharkiv - 132, Kyiv - 116, Chernihiv - 68, Lugansk - 53, Kherson - 52, Mykolaiv - 47, Zaporizhzhia- 30, Sumy - 17, in Kyiv - 16, Zhitomyr - 15.

During the recording of criminal offenses, it became known about the wounding of 10 children in Kharkiv region as a result of the occupants' shelling of civilian infrastructure.
