As part of a new US military aid package worth $100 million, Ukraine has been sent towed howitzers, tow trucks for them and counter-battery radars, the Pentagon has reported.
The U.S. Defense Department published photos of loading 155-mm M777 howitzers into a C-17 Globemaster III heavy military transport aircraft, which is capable of carrying more than 75 tons of cargo.
"As part of the additional $100 million, howitzers, tactical vehicles, and radars (counter-battery control) were shipped to Ukraine," the report said.
