As a result of Russian occupants' shelling in Luhansk Region, the last working substation in the region has been de-energized, the head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Gaidai, said.
"Luhansk region without light - de-energized the last large substation. About an hour ago, the light disappeared in those houses in the region where it still remained. There are active hostilities near Lisichansk, there is a hit in the 220 kV power line. The Russians have de-energized and damaged the last powerful electrical substation," Gaidai wrote in a telegram on Wednesday.
He specified that the damage to the substation was very serious.
"Repairs are impossible until the cessation of hostilities," the RSA head concluded.
