Speaking with Volodymyr Zelensky on the phone today, French President Emmanuel Macron will "strengthen" military and humanitarian aid to Ukraine, BFMTV reports.
"Emmanuel Macron promised Volodymyr Zelensky to 'strengthen support for Ukraine with defense weapons and humanitarian aid' during a phone conversation this Saturday," BFMTV tells us, citing confirmed sources.
In addition, the French head of state promised Zelensky that his country would continue to assist Ukraine in gathering evidence of war crimes as a result of the Russian invasion.
"In addition to continuing military and humanitarian aid, Emmanuel Macron promised this Saturday during a telephone conversation with Volodymyr Zelensky that a mission of French experts helping to gather evidence to fight impunity and ensure international justice for crimes committed as part of the Russian aggression will continue the mission in Ukraine," the Elysee Palace told BFMTV.
