The so-called "PMR Interior Ministry" said that during the night several drones were spotted over Colbasna village, allegedly launched "from Ukraine", and at 8:45 a.m. "shots were fired from the Ukrainian side in the direction of the Transnistrian village of Colbasna." They reported that there were no casualties.
At the same time, TASS writes that Oleg Belyakov, co-chairman of the Joint Control Commission (TCC) for the management of the peacekeeping operation from the unrecognized Transnistrian region, denied information about the shooting in the area of military depots near the village of Covbasna on Wednesday.
"The information about the shooting near the warehouses in Colbasna was received by the peacekeepers' headquarters and was checked. It has not been confirmed... Shots were heard from the territory of Ukraine," Belyakov said in a comment to the publication.
According to him, "there were several single shots from small arms fired from the territory of Ukraine, the border with which runs 2 km from the depots.
Recall that on April 25, explosions were reported in Tiraspol. On April 26, it was reported that two communication towers exploded in unrecognized Transnistria.
The speaker of the Odesa RSA, Serhiy Bratchuk, said that Russia was intensifying provocations in occupied Transnistria.
Subsequently, it became known that the so-called "leadership" of the unrecognized Transnistria would soon "make a decision in defense of the interests of the republic.
The State Border Service believes that Transnistria cannot be ruled out as a territory that could be used by Russia for further actions against Ukraine.
Earlier, the acting commander of the troops of Russia's central military district, Rustam Minnekayev, said that during the second phase of the so-called "military operation" in Ukraine, "access to Transnistria, where facts of oppression of the Russian-speaking population have also been recorded" would be provided.
