Russian occupants twice struck Avdeevka in Donetsk region with phosphorus shells, injuring at least one person. This was reported by the head of the Donetsk RSA Pavel Kirilenko.
"The Russians twice hit phosphorus shells in Avdeevka. First - yesterday evening in the area of the coke plant, and this morning - in the center of the city. As a result of this shelling, several fires broke out in the city. Following the second shelling, the Russians carried out airstrikes on Avdiivka - hitting a multi-story building. At least one casualty is known," Kirilenko wrote.
He added that the Armed Forces of Ukraine had repelled an attempt to break through Russian troops in this direction.
