In the morning, Russian occupants shelled a school and two apartment buildings in Severodonetsk, two elderly people were rescued. This was reported by the chairman of the Luhansk Regional State Administration Serhiy Gaidai.

"Two high-rise buildings in the new district of the city, as well as a high school building came under heavy fire from the Russian army," Gaidai noted.

The enemy shelling took place in the morning of April 10. In one of the entrances, apartments from the first to the fifth floor were completely burned out.

"Firefighters localized the fire and evacuated two local residents born in 1938, who were still staying in this damaged house more than once. Another fire broke out after a Russian shell hit the house. As a consequence, three apartments on the fifth floor were burned out. Fortunately there were no casualties. A nearby school building was also damaged. Last night two houses in Lysychansk and Kamyshevakha-1 were also destroyed," said the head of the Luhansk Regional State Administration.
