A heightened curfew is being imposed in the Odesa region. It will begin at 9 p.m. Saturday, April 9, and will last until 6 a.m. Monday, April 11. This was announced by the head of the Odesa RSA Maxim Marchenko.

 

"Given the events that took place in Kramatorsk, Donetsk region, where as a result of the rocket attack on the train station, 50 people were killed and 98 wounded, there is a threat of a rocket attack in Odesa, April 10, 2022," he said.

 

That's why, as stated in the message, introduced a curfew in the territory of Odesa and Odesa region from 21:00 on April 9 to 06:00 on April 11.

 

Citizens were reminded that during this time it is forbidden for people to be on the streets and other public places without specially issued passes and certificates.

 

"I appeal to the residents of Odesa and the region to take the restrictions with understanding and not to violate them. Such measures are necessary, first of all, for your safety, which thereby will save your life, because the consequences can be fatal," - added Marchenko.
