President Volodymyr Zelensky admits that one of the most difficult situations now in Ukraine is the issue of Mariupol, he hopes for the mediation of Turkey. He said this during a visit to Bucha.
When asked what are the realistic scenarios for the rescue of Mariupol, whether the option of a de-blockade is being considered, the head of state said.
"Mariupol is one of the most difficult situations. I'm afraid I have no right to tell you about all scenarios. We are engaged in supporting the guys, it is very difficult for them. I and the commander in chief are in touch on a daily basis. We are talking about mediation in this particular mission with Turkey. Not just there. I think that in the next few days, and maybe in the next few hours, we will have an answer to your very difficult question. It all depends, you know, unfortunately, on whom," he said.
Recall that Turkey said it was ready to provide ships to organize the evacuation of civilians and the wounded from Mariupol by sea.
