We need a complete evacuation of Mariupol - the mayor

The mayor of Mariupol, Vadim Boychenko, stated that the situation in the city remains extremely difficult. At the same time, more than 100 thousand people remain in Mariupol.

This was reported by the mayor during the all-Ukrainian TV marathon.

"Quite a lot of people are in Mariupol, exactly over 100 thousand people. About 160 thousand, according to our estimates, are in Mariupol, in which it is impossible to live, because there is nothing at all: no water, no light, no heat, no communication," he said.

Boychenko stressed that the city needs a complete evacuation.

"Our main mission is to do what we have to do, we need a complete evacuation of Mariupol. We have been played by the Russian Federation since day one. We are in the hands of the occupants," said the mayor of Mariupol.
