On the night of Thursday, March 24, Russian aviation launched missile strikes on towns in the Luhansk region, dropping phosphorus bombs on Rubizhne (Luhansk region), killing 4 people, including two children, wounding 6 people, said the head of the Luhansk OVA Sergei Gaidai.

"A very difficult situation in Rubizhne, where fighting among the city continues. According to confirmed information, we have four dead, two of which are children, and six wounded. The Russians are in agony. They can't break through deep inside, so they started using heavy weapons. Rocket strikes were launched against Lysychansk and Novodruzhsk, and Russian aviation began dropping phosphorus bombs on Rubizhne. So, unfortunately, the number of casualties could be much higher," Gaidai wrote in a Telegram on Thursday morning.

According to him, during the day in the region damaged or completely destroyed 31 objects, of which 23 houses. Specifically, 10 high-rise buildings and 13 private homes. 16 of them were enveloped in flames.
