It is noted that the grouping of our defense forces continues to conduct a defensive operation in the Eastern, South-Eastern and North-Eastern directions - in none of them the enemy has succeeded.
Thus, the Ukrainian military is deterring the enemy in these directions, conducting a stabilization operation and fulfilling the tasks of territorial defense, the General Staff said.
Over the past 24 hours, the enemy aviation continued active operations and air strikes - more than 250 sorties were recorded (60 more than on March 22). Military and civilian infrastructure facilities in the Kyiv, Chernihiv and Kharkiv Regions remain the main targets of the Rascists.
The grouping of the Air Force of the AFU reflects concentrated missile and aviation strikes and air attacks of the occupiers, anti-air cover of our important facilities and groups of troops.
It is reported that during the day 11 enemy air targets were shot down: 7 aircraft, 1 UAV, 1 helicopter and 2 cruise missiles (information on their final shooting down is being clarified).
In the territories of the Kherson region temporarily occupied by Russian troops in connection with peaceful protests against the occupation, the enemy resorts to terror of the local population, actively uses Rosgvardia units to prevent civil disobedience actions.
"The enemy continues to lose manpower and equipment in all directions. Total resistance to the Ukrainian people continues," the General Staff said in a report.
