Russian Armed Forces prepare psychological actions to undermine confidence in representatives of the Ukrainian government on the ground - AFU General Staff

Information warfare units of the Russian Armed Forces are preparing psychological actions to undermine trust in representatives of the Ukrainian state authorities on the ground, the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has reported.

"The Russian occupants are demoralized and the psychological state of the Russian Armed Forces is rapidly deteriorating. At the same time, information warfare units of the Russian Armed Forces are preparing psychological actions to undermine trust in representatives of the Ukrainian state power on the ground," the AFU General Staff reported on Facebook.

Also, according to information available to the Ukrainian military, an internal anonymous survey was conducted on March 8, 2022 on their readiness to take part in combat operations on the side of the Russian Armed Forces.

"The results demonstrate that the vast majority of personnel are not ready to take part in the war against Ukraine," the General Staff reported.

At the same time, in the northwest direction, part of the groups from the Ukrainian defense forces are covering the state border with Belarus. Defensive operations in Polesye and Volyn operational areas are ongoing.

It is noted that the grouping of defense forces of Kiev holds certain lines. In the area of Borodyanka and Makarov during the offensive actions of Ukrainian Armed Forces units the enemy has suffered significant losses. The city of Chernigov also maintains its defenses.

In the east, the defenders of Ukraine hold back the enemy in three operational areas - Donetsk, Slobozhansky and Tavrichesky.
