Attempts to remove people from Mariupol and Irpen - the occupiers shelled the cities

The occupants shelled the town of Irpen in the Kiev region at a time when civilians were being evacuated there. This is reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

"Despite the shelling and the capture of the city by the enemy today police officers with the military removed 200 civilians from the war zone, of which 50 were children and one wounded. The evacuation was carried out near the village of Romanovka under mortar fire from the enemy. At the moment there is no threat to people's lives and health," the report reads.

After the recent shelling to which the city and surrounding area were subjected, citizens continue to evacuate. In addition, rescuers are deploying tents to provide medical assistance to anyone who needs it.

Meanwhile, in Mariupol, Russian occupants broke off a second attempt at a "green" corridor for civilians. Russian troops are shelling the places where people should have been going out. This is reported by the Azov regiment.

"The situation in the city of Mariupol is difficult. Today a "green" corridor was planned, which was once again disrupted by Russian Federation troops. This foul is shelling the places where people were supposed to go out," the regiment noted.

Azov and the National Police are urging civilians not to leave their bomb shelters and hide in basements, as it is dangerous just to be outside.

"I want to emphasize that our guys are courageously holding the defense. Today we went on the counterattack, and gave a normal "bashing". I want to appeal to the Ukrainians: let's all unite, let's do Molotov cocktails, let's burn that filth and expel it from our land," they added there.
