Operational information as of 06:00 26.02.2022 on the Russian invasion
The Russian occupant continues its offensive operation against Ukraine.
The enemy began redeploying reserve units to areas bordering Ukraine and continues air strikes on airfields, groups of Ukrainian Armed Forces troops in the East and in the northern part of the Kiev region. Single air strikes were carried out in the areas of Sumy, Poltava, and Mariupol. From the Black Sea the enemy launched sea-launched cruise missiles Kalibr against the territory of Ukraine.
The Russian Federation's tactical aviation is controlled from the territory of Belarus and TOT Crimea. Battalion tactical groups of the 35th Combined Arms Army of the Eastern Military Division are located in the area of MOZYR, which can be used for strikes against objects on the territory of Ukraine.
The temporary location of dozens of tanks in the Shumsko area and BM-21 "Grad" multiple rocket launchers in the KOSEVSHCHINA area has been established.
The enemy repeatedly used operational and tactical aviation in the areas of Yuzhny and ODESSA, on the airfield Ozernoye, on civilian infrastructure facilities in the Kiev region.
In the Slobozhansky direction the operational grouping of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stopped the enemy offensive and continues to conduct defensive battles in the Kharkiv region. Urban fighting is ongoing in Akhtyrka.
On the seaside near KOBLEVO, the mechanized units of the 28th Brigade Combat Team destroyed boats and up to 20 enemy DRG personnel. The Ukrainian Navy's Maritime Forces engineering group carried out mine clearance of accessible landing sites.
A group of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine repels enemy air strikes, destroying an IL-76MD military transport aircraft with a Russian occupation troops landing. Continues to conduct systematic combat operations. The joint force group is engaging the enemy's ammunition and military equipment in Kyiv, Chernihiv and Kherson Regions.

State Border Guard Service of Ukraine - Destroyed enemy drone:
At night, the Ukrainian State Border Guard Service's Maritime Guard ship Grigory Kuropyatnikov was attacked by an unmanned drone.
Border guards opened fire on the drone, which had taken a course towards the Ukrainian shore. The drone was shot down on its approach to Chernomorsk.
At present the ship continues to serve in the Black Sea, protecting Ukraine.
The enemy drones are attempting to actively scout the Black Sea and Danube coasts.
