It is necessary to fulfill "Minsk", then all questions will disappear - Lavrov on the supply of weapons to the "LDNR"

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that the supply of weapons to the occupying authorities of Donbas depends on Ukraine's fulfillment of the Minsk agreements. In particular, on the special status of Donbas.

This is reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing a briefing.

"Here we clearly have a position. We are supporters of the unconditional implementation by Kiev of the Minsk agreements. Western curators of the Ukrainian regime, including the Americans, have said that they will get Kiev to fulfill the points of the Minsk complex. Especially regarding the fulfillment of obligations on the special status of Donbas," he said.

At the same time, he stressed that the supply of weapons depends solely on the implementation of the "Minsk".

"I proceed from the fact that this obligation lies with the West and it must ensure that Kiev fulfills the Minsk agreements, then all questions will fall away," Lavrov added.

Earlier, First Vice Speaker of the Federation Council Andrei Turchak said that the Russian Federation should deal with deliveries of certain types of weapons to the "L/DNR."

"Under these circumstances, Russia should provide the "Luhansk and Donetsk People's Republics" with the necessary assistance in the form of supplies of certain types of weapons to improve their defense capabilities and deter Kiev's clearly prepared military aggression," Turchak said.

Earlier, Lavrov said that the Russian Federation was not yet considering the possibility of officially recognizing the so-called "LDPR".
