Almost 3.71 million cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 have already been diagnosed in Ukraine, with an increase of 5.4 thousand cases per day on January 10, more than doubling the number of cases per day earlier.

Of those sickened during the day: 306 children, 168 health workers. The number of those recovered is higher than the number of new cases. This is reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

"During the day on January 10 in Ukraine recorded 5,429 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19," - said in the message.

Also over the past 24 hours:

- hospitalized - 915 people;

- fatal cases - 219;

- 7,761 persons recovered.

During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

- 3,709,871 persons fell ill;

- 3,522,547 persons recovered;

- 97 544 deaths;

- PCR tests were conducted - 16,995,958.

During the last day, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Kiev city (1192), Poltava (440), Kharkiv (309), Donetsk (288) and Odessa (266) regions.
