Minister of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine Oleksandr Tkachenko has resigned. Among the reasons - the transfer of Goskino in the management of the Cabinet of Ministers and the budget for the sphere of culture in 2022.
About this the Minister said in his Facebook, notes RBC-Ukraine.
"Today I wrote a letter of resignation ... The report in the Rada is not far off. Today sent his statement to the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk," - said Tkachenko.
According to him, among the reasons for the resignation is the decision to transfer the State Cinema to the management of the Cabinet of Ministers without coordination with the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy.
"Such style and approaches to process management surprise me - not my concept and values," he noted.
Tkachenko specified that he cannot agree with this decision. In addition, according to him, the government blocks the creation of the State Service and the State Inspectorate for the protection of cultural heritage. Also one of the reasons for the resignation is also the budget for culture in 2022.
"Both the nature of the discussion and the final amount are unacceptable to me," the minister added.
