Uzhhorod - Kyiv: On Sunday, June 11, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and Slovak President Andrei Kiska at the border opened a symbolic door to the European Union.

Today, June 11, the visa-free regime for Ukrainian citizens from the European Union came into force. Ambassador of Switzerland to Ukraine Guillaume Scheuer told Front News International that there will be no problems with visa-free travel between Switzerland and Ukraine.

Also today the first visa-free train departed from Kyiv. At the airports and railway stations of the European Union, Ukrainian tourists are greeted by the Consuls General.

Yesterday, June 10, President Petro Poroshenko announced that Ukraine will never return to the Soviet Union, therefore Ukrainians will hear the phrase "back in USSR" only in the songs of The Beatles.
