KYIV (FNI) - Three Ukrainian military men died in the area of ​​the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) in the Donbas for the past day, January 10.

“Unfortunately, among our troops there is again a loss. Three soldiers were killed during the combat mission’s fulfillment, three others were injured and one took the combat wound,” the ATO press center said.

In total, Russia – backed separatists fired seven times of ATO forces in the past 24 hours – Ukraine’s military recorded. In one case, the Ukrainian military gave the aggressor an adequate response.

The past day was marked by a certain aggravation of the situation in the area of ​​ATO. Pro-Russian separatists continued to violate the cease-fire and increase the number and intensity of armed provocations, including arms that should have been removed from the line for a long time.

In the Luhansk direction, in the dark, militants were fired with mortars of various caliber reinforcements of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Troitske. The enemy also showed a special fire activity in the area of ​​the Svetlodar, particularly, on approaches to the Luhansk aggressor, repeatedly, both day and night, was driving fire from 120, 82 mm mortars, and large-caliber machine guns. In addition, near Novoluhansk, an hour and a half the enemy fired our positions with grenade launchers, machine guns and mortars of various calibers.

In the Donetsk direction, the enemy violated the ceasefire agreement with automatic grenade launchers near Verhniotoretsk and the Busovka mine.
