KYIV (FNI) -  Al Jazeera TV channel has published a decision of the Kramatorsk District Court on the special confiscation of almost $ 1.5 billion of so-called ‘Yanukovych's money,’ which has been classified by the authorities.

On its official site, the TV channel published a verdict on the 95 pages in both Ukrainian and English. It is noted that this decision reveals the corruption scheme through which the Ukrainian president-fugitive Yanukovych brought out nearly half a billion dollars from the country. According to Al Jazeera, the investment company ‘Investment Capital Ukraine’, which was a broker for the purchase of Ukrainian government bonds in the period from 2012 to 2014, worth $ 1.5 billion, was involved in the scheme. This company has close ties with Poroshenko and its Roshen Corporation, and the head of the ICU at that time was ex-chairman of the National Bank of Ukraine Valeria Hontareva.

In April 2017, the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yurii Lutsenko said that the Kramatorsk district court issued a decision to confiscate the funds of the president-fugitive Viktor Yanukovych and his close surrounding in favor of the state for about $ 1.5 billion. The decision was dated March 28, 2017, but has not yet been made public. The state-owned enterprise “Information judicial systems” stated that the General Prosecutor’s Office as a state secret recognized this decision.
