Moscow: Russian President Vladimir Putin opened a meeting with the President of Croatia, Colinda Grabar-Kitarovich. This was reported by the press service of the Kremlin.
"I am very pleased to meet you in Russia, and there is an opportunity to talk about our bilateral relations, as well as on regional agenda issues," Putin said.
In turn, the President of Croatia, Colinda Grabar-Kitarovich, thanked the Russian side for the invitation to visit the Russian Federation and invited Putin to also visit Croatia.
"Today, first of all, we will touch on our bilateral relations, which include economic cooperation and other issues, as well as issues of security on the European continent, especially security issues in neighboring countries of South-Eastern Europe, and security issues on a global scale, in which Russia plays an extremely important role, "the Croatian president said.
Also, the Croatian President will meet today with the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev, as well as with the Speaker of the upper house of the Russian Parliament, Valentina Matvienko.
Also, Vladimir Putin will meet with German Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier in Moscow on October 25.
