Kyiv: The former head of Odessa Regional State Administration Mikheil Saakashvili explained why during the conversation with the prankers the head of the Georgian Interior Ministry Giorgi Mgebrishvili called him an undesirable person in Georgia.
"The Minister of the Russian oligarch Ivanishvili admitted in a conversation with Avakov that I said that all cases against me are fabricated and have a purely political nature. Ivanishvili is afraid of my arrival in Georgia, because the Georgian people, who already have enough material to compare my government with the oligarchic oppression, will take to the streets and sweep them away as soon as I appear in Tbilisi," Saakashvili said.
However, he noted that now his immediate plans are related only to Ukraine.
On Saturday, August 12, the Prankers Vovan and Lexus called Georgian Interior Minister Giorgi Mgebrishvili under the guise of Interior Minister of Ukraine Arsen Avakov and announced the need to extradite Saakashvili in Georgia. An audio recording of the dialogue they published on YouTube. During the conversation, Mgebrishvili said that Saakashvili did not need them in Georgia.
The Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs refused to comment on the call of the pranks, saying that they were not going to react to the actions of "some sort of prank".
