Kabul: In the province of Kunar, one of the leaders of ISIS Abdul Rahman was killed as a result of an air attack.
"The death of Abdul Rahman is another blow to the leadership of ISIS. He understood, like those before him, that they do not have a safe haven in Afghanistan," said US commander in Afghanistan, General John Nicholson.
He added that the army will pursue all those who are hiding until the threat to the Afghans and the region disappears.
The report also says that it was Abdul Rahman who was one of the candidates for the post of Emir of ISIS in the province of Khorasan after the death of leader Abu Sayyed.
The leader of the terrorist organization "Islamic State" Abu Sayyaf was killed as a result of an attack on the headquarters of a group in the province of Kunar in Afghanistan.
