Ukrainian fighters repelled 35 attacks by Russians in the Donetsk region and destroyed the means of air defense of the Russian Federation.

 This is reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

 Today, the enemy carried out 25 airstrikes, launched more than 20 attacks from rocket salvo systems on the positions of our troops and populated areas. Also, at night, the enemy launched 5 rocket attacks on Mykolaiv, there are casualties among the civilian population, private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.

 The probability of launching missile and air strikes on the entire territory of Ukraine remains high. The enemy continues to focus its main efforts on conducting offensive actions in the Bakhmut, Avdiiv and Marin directions. During the day, he carried out more than 35 attacks on the specified areas of the front, but all of them were repulsed by units of the defense forces. Bakhmut and Maryinka remain at the epicenter of hostilities, our soldiers bravely defend themselves.

 On the Volyn and Poliske directions, the operational situation has not undergone significant changes. No signs of formation of enemy offensive groups were detected.

 The military presence of the enemy in the border areas of the Russian Federation with Ukraine is maintained in the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions. During the day, the enemy carried out airstrikes on the settlements of Seredyna-Buda and Chernatske; carried out mortar and artillery attacks on the settlements of Novovasylivka, Ukrainyske, Bachivsk and Kucherivka in the Sumy region, as well as Basove, Bugaivka, Kozacha Lopan, Strelecha, Hlyboke, Gatyshche, Vovchansk, Bologivka, Dvorichanske and Kolodyazne in the Kharkiv region.

 In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy did not carry out offensive actions, actively using unmanned aerial vehicles to adjust artillery fire. Kamianka, Krasne Pershe, Figolivka, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Lyman Pershi, Berestov in Kharkiv region and Novoselivske in Luhansk region were subjected to artillery and mortar attacks.

In the Lymansky direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the direction of Serebryansk forestry. Makiivka, Nevske, Dibrova, Belogorivka of the Luhansk region and Terny, Verkhnokamianske and Spirne of the Donetsk region were hit by artillery fire.

 In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy continues offensive actions. Fighting continues in the city of Bakhmut. In addition, during the day, the enemy launched unsuccessful attacks in the direction of Bohdanivka. Vasyukivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Khromove, Bakhmut, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Predtechine, Kostyantynivka, Northern, Southern, Nelipivka and New York of the Donetsk region were affected by enemy shelling.

 In the Avdiyiv direction, the enemy carried out offensive actions in the Severne and Pervomaiske settlements of the Donetsk region, without success. He shelled the settlements of Stepove, Berdychi, Lastochkine, Avdiivka, Severna, Vodyane, and Pervomaiske.

 In the Marinsk direction, during the day, our defenders repelled enemy attacks in the areas of Krasnohorivka and Marinka settlements. At the same time, Georgiivka, Paraskoviivka, and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region also came under enemy shelling.

 During the day, the enemy did not conduct offensive operations in the Shakhtarsky direction. He carried out airstrikes on Vugledar and Velika Novosilka, shelled the settlements of Bogoyavlenka, Novoukrayinka, Zolota Niva, Prechistivka, and Vugledar in the Donetsk region.

 The enemy continues to conduct defensive operations in the Zaporizhzhуа and Kherson directions. He carried out shelling of populated areas not far from the battle line. Among them - Vilne Pole, Novopil of Donetsk region; Olhivske, Gulyaipole, Mala Tokmachka, Orihiv, Novoandriyivka and Kamianske of the Zaporizhzhуa region; Kherson and Beryslav in the Kherson region.

 To replenish the losses in manpower, the Russian occupiers continue to actively recruit persons with criminal records, or those against whom criminal cases have been opened, in particular, for terrorism. According to available information, about 500 such invaders are being trained in one of the field camps deployed by the enemy in the temporarily captured territory of Starobil district of Luhansk region. It is also known that instead of imprisonment, convicts are offered a contract for military service with participation in hostilities in Ukraine for a period of six months.

 During the day, the aviation of the Defense Forces of Ukraine carried out 4 strikes on the concentration areas of the occupiers, as well as a strike on the enemy's anti-aircraft missile system.

 5 enemy UAVs of various types were shot down. Units of rocket troops and artillery, together with that, hit 2 control points, an area of concentration of enemy manpower, an anti-aircraft defense device, an ammunition depot and 2 artillery units.
