The head of the "Wagner" PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin, does not lead combat units in the war against Ukraine. It performs exclusively a media and political function.

 This was announced by the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Andriy Yusov on the air of the telethon.

 "Prygozhin's key function is media and political. He does not directly manage combat units, he does not head the headquarters. His task is financing, this is actually this shady business on the territory of the Russian Federation and abroad," Yusov said.

 According to the representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, Prigozhin is engaged in PR and his own political future. In general, the key mission of the "Wagnerians" in the war is to build a political perspective on the territory of Russia after the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.
