In a conversation with Macron, Putin agreed to send the IAEA mission to the ZNPP

The Elysée Palace released its statement following a conversation between French President Emmanuel Macron and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

 

 "The President once again emphasized his concern about the risks posed by the situation at the Zaporizhzhya NPP for nuclear safety and supported the speedy direction of the IAEA expert mission to the site on the terms agreed by Ukraine and the UN. The President of the Russian Federation informed the President of France of his agreement to host this mission and the specified methods," the Elysee Palace reported.

 

 It is reported that the presidents will speak to each other again on this topic in the near future after the discussions between the technical groups.
