London: Prince William on Thursday, July 27, will spend his last shift as a helicopter rescue pilot.Kensington Palace reported.
The decision to leave work is due to the need to focus on their royal duties.
"Working in air ambulance was a huge privilege. I will carry this experience through life, and it will add a valuable perspective to my royal work", - is sain in the statement.
Prince William served in the British Armed Forces from 2006 to 2013. Initially, he held the position of co-pilot and checked the safety of air ambulance, then became a pilot of search and rescue helicopter.
