Moscow: Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will leave for Indonesia and Thailand on a working visit on August 8-10.

"On August 8-9, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will pay a visit to Jakarta during which he will hold talks with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Marsudi", - said Artem Kozhin, deputy director of the Information and Press Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

According to him, on the agenda will be discussed the issues of further enhancing cooperation in the economic and humanitarian fields.

He also announced Lavrov's trip to Thailand. "On August 9-10, Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov will pay a working visit to Bangkok, where he will hold talks with Thailand's Minister of Foreign Affairs Pramudwinai, and also meet with the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Chan-o-cha", - said Kozhin.

Kozhin stressed that Russia and Thailand will discuss cooperation in the political, economic and humanitarian fields, with an emphasis on the implementation of previously reached agreements.

This month, July 12-13, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov visited Berlin. He also met with the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Federico Mogherini, where they discussed the situation in eastern Ukraine.
