Damascus: More than 50 people were killed in strikes by Israeli aircraft in eastern Syria last night.
According to the latest information, the death toll has reached 57. The publication notes that Israel's air strikes have become the deadliest operation in Syria since the beginning of the conflict.
At the same time, according to the Syrian Monitoring Center for Human Rights (SOHR), nine Syrian soldiers and 31 members of pro-Iranian formations were killed in the attack. Another 37 people were injured. It is reported that Israeli aircraft have carried out at least 18 strikes in the area between the city of Deir ez-Zor and the border between Syria and Iraq.
