Berlin: Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel expressed condolence on Nice incident whilst unidentified person attacked people, entering the church, with knife on October 29.
Merkel’s statement was quoted by her official spokesperson Steffen Seibert on the briefing.
,,Deeply shaken by the terrible murders in a church in Nice. The French nation has Germany’s solidarity in these difficult hours’’, Seibert said.
Besides that, condolences were expressed by prime minister of Italy and Spain, president of European Council Charles Michel, foreign ministers of Greece and Turkey.
As previously reported, on October 29 unknown man attacked people with knife near Notre Dame church in Nice. Mayor of Nice Christian Estrosi stated that three people fell victim to the attack.
