Kyiv: Baku and Yerevan reported about missile strikes from each other, DW states.

On October 17, at night relevant statement was made by Baku. It accused Armenia for the hit on the cities of Ganja and Mingechivir. 

Azerbaijani president’s aide Hikmet Gajiev stated that attack resulted killing of more than 10 people and injured about 40.

Armenia, in turn, stated that Azerbaijani drones hit on the military sites in southern Armenia and damaged civil infrastructure although there weren’t any casualties.

Azerbaijani defense ministers denied UAVs’ attack and confirmed absence of military aims to the Armenian territory.

Also, Armenian foreign ministry stated that missile strike injured 3 civilians in village Shosh (Nagorno-Karabakh region). One’s condition is assessed as serious.

DW agency mentions that U.S., France and Russia will carry out the private consultations on this issue through UN Security Council on October 19.
