Washington: U.S. Senate Committee on Foreign Relations supported an appointment of Keith Dayton for U.S. ambassador in Ukraine, Senate states via official website.

,,Processing nominations continues to be a core responsibility of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, and I am glad the committee approved another fifteen nominees this morning. I am especially pleased to be sending ambassadorial nominees for Japan and Ukraine to the full Senate for confirmation. These posts play a vital role in U.S. foreign policymaking, and I hope Mr. Weinstein and Mr. Dayton will be confirmed soon”, chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee Jim Risch said. 

Besides that, press service of Senate remarked that 15 nominees were approved on different positions during business meeting.

The author of proposal about appointing Keith Dayton for U.S. ambassador in Ukraine was U.S. president Donald Trump.
