Kyiv: European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker thanked the Hamburg police for their work at the G20 summit.
"I would like to thank the police of Hamburg and the whole of Germany for their efforts during the G20 summit. Criticism of their work is unjustified and groundless, "Juncker said.
He also thanked the not indifferent inhabitants of the city who took part in cleaning the city after mass protests.
In Hamburg on July 7-8, the summit of the G20 leaders was held. In parallel, on the streets of the city there were demonstrations and protests against the holding of the summit, during which 213 law enforcers were injured.
