Kyiv: On Sunday, July 9, the Law "On Amendments to Certain Laws of Ukraine Regarding the Foreign Policy of Ukraine", which defines membership in NATO as one of the priorities of the national interests of the state, comes into force in Ukraine.
So, on Saturday, July 8, the law was published by the official newspaper of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine "Voice of Ukraine".
In the Verkhovna Rada, on June 8, passed the bill No. 6470 on the foreign policy course of Ukraine.
Earlier, on July 6, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko signed the law "On Amendments to Certain Laws of Ukraine Regarding Ukraine's Foreign Policy", which determines Ukraine's course towards Euro-Atlantic integration and NATO membership
On Friday, July 7, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko signed a decree appointing Deputy Foreign Minister Vadim Pristaiko as the new head of Ukraine's mission to NATO.
