Tbilisi: State Minister for Reconciliation and Civil Integration Ketevan Tsikhelashvili resigns due to being appointed to the post of Georgian Ambassador to Austria, says Minister of  Foreign Affairs David Zalkaliani.

According to him, Tsikhelashvili will also become Georgia’s permanent representative to the OSCE.

In addition, Alexander Maisuradze will become the Ambassador of Georgia to international organizations based in Geneva, and Viktor Dolidze, former State Minister for European Integration, will be appointed Ambassador to NATO.

“We will have new ambassadors. Our ambassador to NATO, Alexander Maisuradze, completed his work. The 5-year period stipulated for this post has ended. Therefore, we decided to use his experience in multilateral relations in Geneva as a representative for international relations. And his place will be taken by our ambassador to Geneva, Viktor Dolidze, who will represent Georgia in NATO,” the Foreign Minister emphasized.

In addition to diplomatic appointments, the Georgian authorities also appointed a new deputy foreign minister -  diplomat Vladimir Konstantinidi.
