Kyiv: Senior US officials discussed the possibility of conducting the first nuclear test in the United States since 1992, the Washington Post reports citing its own sources.
As the source said, the United States motivates its actions with information that Russia and China are allegedly conducting low-power nuclear tests.
At the same time, the source emphasized that the participants in the meeting could not reach a common decision, but it is possible that "the conversation will continue."
“The test will have far-reaching consequences for relations with other nuclear powers and will lift a ten-year moratorium on such actions,” the publication added.
