Kyiv: In France, a 23-year-old man was detained for threats to kill French President Emmanuel Macron.
He called himself an ultra-right nationalist and was preparing an attempt on Macron during the celebration of the Independence Day of France on July 14, the French channel BFM reported.
The young man has already been accused of promoting terrorism in 2016. French special services found his correspondence in an online video game, where he discussed exactly where he wanted to buy a Kalashnikov assault rifle for murder. Also in his car were found two knives.
In June, Macron discussed with the British Prime Minister Teresa May an anti-terrorist strategy.
