Kiev: The State Bureau of Investigationbsent a draft report on suspicion to the ex-president of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko to the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.

As stated in the message on the Facebook page of the State Bureau of Investigations, “the draft suspicion was prepared and sent to the prosecutor's office as part of a pre-trial investigation of criminal proceedings regarding the possible unlawful influence on the competition for the selection of candidates for the appointment of members of the High Council of Justice in March-May 2019”.

“The document refers to the suspicion of the fifth president of Ukraine in committing criminal offenses under Part 3 of Art. 109 and part 2 of article 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine”,- said in the GDB.

In addition, it is noted that investigators of the bureau sent a draft submission to the Verkhovna Rada of the Prosecutor’s Office on the consent to prosecute Poroshenko.
