Kiev: Prosecutor General of Ukraine Ruslan Ryaboshapka said that they did not want to investigate the murder of the adviser to the mayor of Kherson, Yekaterina Gandzyuk, so there are so few shifts in a year.
He said this in an interview with LB.ua.
When asked by the journalist whether there was sabotage by the prosecutors involved in this case, Ryaboshapka noted: “I will not directly answer this question. I can only say that we changed the group of prosecutors. There is a huge problem in this business ... They did not want to investigate him”.
He added that he could not speak publicly about why this was happening.
To a clarifying question about whether such a reluctance to investigate this case is connected with the possible involvement of law enforcement officials, Ryaboshapka answered: "The environment that existed at the time the crime was committed, during the investigation, influenced its results."
