Kiev: The U.S. Secret Service, which is responsible for guarding the president, his relatives, and government officials, interrogated rapper Eminem in 2018 for his songs, mentioning President Donald Trump and his daughter Ivanka.
This is evidenced by the documents that the Secret Service provided Buzzfeed News.
The secret service drew attention to Eminem after she received a letter from a TMZ publication employee. This happened on December 15, 2017 - on the day of the release of the album "Revival".
The journalist asked if an investigation was underway against Eminim because of his song “Framed”, which was included on the album “Revival”. According to the sender of the letter, it contains “inappropriate comments” about Trump and threats to Ivanka. Buzzfeed News notes that it is likely that a TMZ journalist contacted the Secret Service to receive comment for the article.
In the song “Framed,” Eminem calls the US President Donald Duck and recalls that Ivanka Trump “drowned in the pond,” which can be regarded as a hint of her murder.
A month after receiving a letter from the journalist, on January 16, 2018, the Secret Service interrogated Eminem. During the interrogation, the rapper was asked not only about the track “Framed”, but also about the freestyle, which he read out in October 2017 at the BET Awards and in which he criticized Trump. After the interrogation, the Secret Service did not send the case to the prosecutor for further investigation.
The rapper talked about this interrogation of the Secret Service on the track “The Ringer” from the latest Kamikaze album, which was released in August 2018. In the song, the rapper claims that Trump sent Secret Service agents to him to find out if he is associated with terrorists and wants to harm him.
Earlier, the Secret Service did not confirm that the interrogation was.
