Kiev: US President Donald Trump signed a decree that restored the rules of duty-free trade for a number of goods produced in Ukraine.
This is evidenced by a decree published by the White House.
According to the report, such a decision is connected with “progress achieved by Ukraine in the protection of intellectual property”.
“I did this, believing that Ukraine has provided adequate and effective protection of intellectual property rights. Ukraine has made progress in protecting intellectual property rights. Given this, it is advisable to cancel the suspension of the duty-free agreement in accordance with the General System of Preferences for a number of Ukrainian goods", - Trump said in a statement.
