Kiev: Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture Timothy Milovanov on Monday, October 21, commented on the scandal caused by the song of 95 of the quarter, during which Yevgeny Kosheva, along with the Verevka choir, sang a song about how the house of the ex-head of the NBU Valeria Gontareva burned down. He wrote about this on his Facebook page.
The Minister believes that such "humor" is harming the national interests of Ukraine.
"Recently, the 95th quarter and the Verevka chorus made a Gorila Khata song about a fire near Gontareva. For external investors, this looks very bad", - wrote Milovanov.
According to him, most external investors perceive Gontareva as an outstanding reformer, since under her leadership the NBU switched to flexible exchange rate formation and inflation targeting, which ensured low inflation and exchange rate stability today.
"At the same time, according to external observers, Gontareva is under pressure from Kolomoisky for decisions on Privatbank. They also do not understand how today's power is independent from Kolomoisky and other oligarchs. The 95th quarter is associated with power. And jokes against Gontareva can and will be perceived as confirmation of ties between the oligarchs and the government", - Milovanov said.
In his opinion, the number 95 of the quarter about Gontareva directly negatively affects the investment climate in Ukraine.
